Assembly - LitterMaid Optimization
 Let's assemble the parts we prepared in the last section. First, place the LitterMaid Mega onto the pedestal made of the three taped-together litter containers.
 Then install the LitterMaid waste receptacle which has the 4-inch by 8-inch hole cut in the bottom. Also install the waste receptacle lid in the LitterMaid's hinged lid, as usual.
 Take the litter container with the 4-inch by 8-inch hole in its lid, and place it under the LitterMaid waste receptacle, so that the two holes match up. Ideally, the litter container with the hole in the lid should press up against the three taped-together litter containers, so that nothing can move around.
 To make it easy for your cat to access the elevated LitterMaid, put the flat-topped box next to the unit, to act as a step. And you're done!
The used litter and waste will be scooped into the LitterMaid waste receptacle, where it will fall through the hole into the larger litter container underneath. Once this litter container is full (should be around a month for a two cat household), slide it out, snap off the lid with the hole, snap on a complete lid, and toss the whole container into the garbage. Snap the lid with the hole onto an empty litter container, slide it into place, and you're good for another month. No more expensive LitterMaid waste receptacles to buy, and no more messing around with dirty litter.
