Installation - LitterMaid Optimization

The improved LitterMaid is very stable due to the width of the platform of boxes and the weight of the litter. However, to be sure the LitterMaid Mega can't fall off and scare or injure a cat, I'd advise installing it in a corner. Our LitterMaid is in the basement.

Another possibility is to put the LitterMaid in a closet and block open the closet door a few inches, so that your cats can access their litter.

The only time you may smell odor from the LitterMaid is during the 10 minute interval after the cat has used it, but before the rake has scooped away the clumps. Installing in a basement or closet, away from high-traffic areas, helps ensure you won't be bothered by these occasional odors.

Comments

Do you have a solution to urine not making it into the pan part, urine on the waste container.. The bottom litter waste container does not seam to fit tight enough.
